What surfaces does Bear Grip work on?

Pretty much anything. Poles, bars, shelves, desk edges, cupboard handles, rangehood bars, gym equipment, car headrests and more. If the clamp can fit around it, Bear Grip can mount to it. The clamp opens to a maximum of 39mm.

Is it MagSafe compatible?

Yes. Bear Grip works natively with any MagSafe-compatible iPhone (iPhone 12 and later). Two adhesive magnetic rings are included in the box for Android phones, older iPhones, or any case without built-in MagSafe.

Will it work with my phone case?

Yes. The magnetic ring attaches directly to your phone case using the included adhesive rings. As long as your case isn't too thick or made of a material that blocks magnets, Bear Grip will hold securely.

How strong is the magnet?

Bear Grip uses N52 neodymium magnets, the strongest grade available for consumer products. The magnetic lock holds your phone firmly in place for everyday use including commuting, gym sessions and kitchen use. For high-vibration activities like motorcycling we recommend a dedicated mount.

What is it made of?

Premium aluminium alloy. Lightweight, durable, and weather and sweat resistant for daily carry.

How much does it weigh?

108 grams. Slim enough to carry every day without noticing it.

Does the 1/4 inch screw mount do anything?

Yes. The integrated 1/4 inch screw hole on the base of Bear Grip lets you attach it to any standard tripod or camera accessory mount. Useful for content creators who want a stable phone mount for filming.

We ship Australia wide with free standard shipping on all orders. International shipping is available. Rates calculated at checkout.

How long does delivery take?

Australia wide: 3 to 7 business days standard. Express options available at checkout.

What is your return policy?

30 days from the date of delivery. If you are not happy with Bear Grip for any reason return it for a full refund. Product must be in original condition. Email us at info@thebeargrip.com.au to start a return.

My phone fell off. What should I do?

Make sure the adhesive ring is fully attached to your phone or case with no air bubbles. If using a MagSafe case check that the case is genuinely MagSafe compatible — some cases advertised as MagSafe have weak magnets. If the problem persists contact us and we will sort it out.

Can I use it in the shower or outdoors?

Bear Grip is weather and sweat resistant but it is not fully waterproof. We use it in the bathroom mounted away from direct water spray (on a shower rack or shelf rail) which works well. Do not submerge it or mount it directly in the shower stream.
